Hi, I’m Hisyn.

A composer, arranger, and music producer shaped by shifting geographies, layered identities, and an enduring fascination with sound. Born and raised in Shandong, China, and currently based in New York as I complete my studies at Berklee College of Music, I create music that lives between contrasts: East and West, intimacy and spectacle, structure and spontaneity.

My work ranges from intricate vocal and string arrangements to scoring for fashion campaigns and art films. I was honored with the Award for Creativity in Scoring for Advertising at Berklee — a recognition that reflects my belief that music in commercial spaces doesn’t have to be generic; it can be artful, sharp, and unforgettable.

I’m especially drawn to projects that dare to feel — whether that’s a haunting melody in a short film, a bold sonic identity for a brand, or a reimagined arrangement that gives new life to a familiar tune. Every piece I create begins with curiosity and ends, hopefully, somewhere unexpected.

作曲人、编曲人、音乐制作人，成长于多重文化的交织之间，也在不断迁徙与自我探寻中，学会用声音表达最真实的情感。我出生在中国山东，目前旅居纽约，毕业于伯克利音乐学院，创作游走于中与西、秩序与情绪、叙事与抽象之间。

我的作品涵盖声乐与弦乐的精致编排，也包括为时尚广告与艺术影像打造的原创配乐。曾获伯克利“广告配乐创意奖”，这个奖项也是我坚持的一种信念：广告音乐不必是公式化的，它可以是富有艺术性、锋利而值得被记住的表达。

我特别偏爱那些“敢于表达情感”的项目——一段短片中的隐秘旋律、一支品牌的音响风格、一首老歌的焕新重构。每一段音乐旅程，都从好奇开始，也许最终会抵达一个意想不到的地方。
